Renaissance LAX Hotel, Los Angeles, CA
March 31–April 3, 2025

Attend our Technical Presentation

Presented by Data Physics’ Raman Sridharan:

Coupled Multi-Actuator Sine Testing for Space Flight Hardware Applications

Gain insights into the recent testing of Sierra Space’s Dream Chaser space plane, including the many engineering challenges that were overcome by leveraging the years of experience acquired during prior testing for the James Webb Space Telescope and Orion programs.

Learn how, despite the growing complexities associated with advanced MIMO testing – the versatility of the vibration controller and test system enables testing of this kind to continually evolve.

The presentation also highlights the collaborative efforts of Data Physics and Team Corporation in engineering and controlling the MVF (Mechanical Vibration Facility) at NASA Armstrong Test Facility – world’s largest and most powerful spacecraft shaker system.

About Data Physics Corporation

Data Physics has been pioneering high-performance vibration testing and signal analysis in the aerospace, defense and automotive industries since 1984. We design and manufacture a complete range of air and water-cooled electrodynamic shakers, vibration controllers, and dynamic signal analyzers.

The modern 900 Series analyzer and controller enables simultaneous dynamic signal analysis and shaker vibration control, leveraging a compact hardware form factor with exceptional dynamic range, phase accuracy, and intuitive software which auto-aggregates your data into an easily searchable relational database.

Data Physics controllers lead the industry in multi-shaker vibration control, and our MIMO controllers are trusted to control the world’s most advanced multi-shaker vibration tables including multi-shaker single axis, 3-DOF, 6-DOF, 6+DOF, over-actuated systems, IMMAT/modal control, and more.

Our unique soft-shutdown technology – engineered to protect high-value test articles – proved to be an invaluable feature, critical to the successful testing of the Sierra Space Dream Chaser space plane.
