K2 Space uses Data Physics instrumentation and shakers to develop, screen, and qualify our spaceflight hardware for all dynamic environments. Data Physics has state-of-the-art hardware and software platforms in their 900 Series signal analyzers and vibration controllers that we trust to test our components and systems. We particularly like the REST API because it streamlines our test workflow. Data Physics' customer support is outstanding to boot. The on-site training and the hardware selection collaboration are all top-notch. We recommend the Data Physics ecosystem to any space technology company that plans to bring dynamics test and measurement in-house.

The Dynamics Lab at Independent testing Laboratories uses the Data Physics 900 Series instrumentation for Vibration and Shock Qualification testing for the Commercial Aerospace, Military Aerospace, EV, and Launch Systems industries. The State-of-the-Art hardware and software have reliably allowed us to give our customers the best test environments available today. We really appreciate the ease of use to go from programming, to testing to generating top level reports that our industries demand. We would recommend Data Physics 900 Series software and hardware to any company that needs user-friendly vibration and shock instrumentation that will meet and exceed their needs.

We use Data Physics Quattro systems in our Mechanical Systems Lab II course. The class is a Senior year introduction to structural testing via a set of bench top lab experiments. During the course of the semester, the students are introduced to accelerometers, instrumented hammers, filtering, damping measurements, and a final project focusing on damping optimization or a modal analysis test/FEA project of a simple geometry. Most students do not have any history with sampling or data acquisition prior to the start of the course. As such, we introduce data acquisition topics one at a time during each test lab. The Matlab API interface is very handy for this as the students can be given a pre-written Matlab script with many options for data acquisition already locked in for them so that they are only focusing on the topic at hand. As we move towards the end of the semester, we transition over to the Data Physics 900 Series software where the student has more control over the configuration of the experiment. We typically use the 900 Series software for the Damping Measurement and the Final Project. We use the Matlab API for the preliminary labs Accelerometers, Force Calibration, and Sound Speed. I feel like the ability to pre-configure experiments for the students to focus on specific topics makes it a very effective tool for course learning.

On updating from 200 to 900 Series software for Quattro testing: "I did some of my testing today and it ran really smooth. I was not too happy with having to go to a new software, but I actually like this new version a lot. It is easier and quicker than what we were doing. Everyone has done their monthly tests on the new software now and I have gotten positive feedback from all of them."

Maximizing Dynamic Signal Analysis with SignalCalc and MEscope – After more than a decade of working with SignalCalc (from Data Physics Corporation) and MEscope (from Vibrant Technology), I’ve seen firsthand how these tools have transformed the way we approach vibration analysis and structural dynamics. Data Physics SignalCalc has been my go-to for precise dynamic signal analysis. Its ability to calibrate and process real-time data with high accuracy has been invaluable for everything from modal testing to vibration monitoring. The intuitive interface makes it easy to analyze complex datasets and extract critical insights, saving time and increasing the precision of my analysis.
